Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known work is her leading role as deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. As a result of her portrayal as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. The seventh season of the series was concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe award in 1995 for her performance on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and therapist for families and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI, a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was an Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick says she is Jewish and says she goes to Passover seders.
